This one is obviously an electric installation, and it was placed inside the grotto to shelter it from rain and to have reduced light to pronounce the light effects better. It basically is more of a gadget than a sculpure, and it wouldn't be a big surprise if you found anything like that in the decoration bit of the hardware store anytime soon.
