Cornwall Land's End

Land's End
Land's End

Even further west than Cape Cornwall is Land's End. Although, strictly speaking, this is not the end, since there are still the Scilly Isles behind that.

The cragged rocks and the mostly rough weather give the place its own atmosphere, the nearby built visitor centre and the heavy commercialisation can't change that. The best way to approach the place is to walk along the coastal path from Sennen Cove, that way you can enjoy the landscape best.

Land's End is often viewed as the most westerly point on the isle of Great Britain. But this is not the case, it is "only" the most western point of England on the mainland. The most westerly point on Great Britain is Corrachadh Mor in Scotland, about 35 miles northwest of Oban.
