To close this gallery here a view over the Rhine to two very famous attractions. The first one is the Hockenheim race course, which is about 8 km from Speyer. During the Formula 1 weekend the airport in Speyer is an important part of the infrastructure, since a few VIPs come with the plane to Speyer and take the helicopter over to the racecourse.
