End of 2012 a new attraction opened within the cathedral. There was the opening of the restored frescos of Schraudolph in the Kaisersaal (emperor's room), and also a viewing platform in the southwest tower was installed. On the picture the building works on this tower can be seen.
The Kaisersaal is located over the entrance portal on the western front, behind the big rosette window. In there is also the entrance for the Southwestern Tower.
