Meanwhile the Brezelfest lasts six days. Besides the parade there is a cardgame tournament, a runner's competition and a meeting with the Mayor in the beer tent on Sunday morning. Before the event a local artist is ordered to paint the official Brezelfest painting, which then is auctioned off during the event for charity, and also is sold on a pin-button.
At the end the Brezelfest is closed down with a huge fireworks display.
