From Rock you can walk a giant sandy beach along the camel estuary towards the sea, and enjoy the cornish landscape. After crossing a rocky hill you get to Daymer Beach, which is a rather quiet beach. If you go further along the estuary you will reach the lively Polzeath, which is known as a surfer's hot-spot.
